HTX-10 Radio Shack all-mode 10 meter SSB transceiver
This is the HTX-10 10-meter transceiver from Radio Shack. One of my favorites. Excellent modulation in all modes, at almost 30 watts. It is built very well, FR4 glass-epoxy board was used in SMT technology. It has 10 memories that hold mode and shift as well, and allows for any programmable repeater shift between 10 and 990kHz. One of Radio Shack’s best!

I just bought a radio shack HTX-10 radio off ebay. I'm pretty new to ham radio and studying for my license. I'm not getting inbound audio. It seems like I'm getting a signal but somehow its not decoding right. I'm not sure if you call demodulation. I made a video about it below. Do you think this device is worth fixing?

Just picked one up a and I noticed it was very noisy on SSB. Is that normal?
nice video i have one of these radios as well 🙂
Nice video!
I would like to see you make some contacts on 10 meters also.

KD4TVB,
Thanks for the demo! I might grab one of these off eBay since manufacturers don't seem to want to make single-band all-mode radios anymore
very good. I like my 2950's, easy to get and fairly durable
