Grok AI in Here – New ChatGPT Competitor from Elon Musk
Grok, the new AI on X, is finally available and I want to take it for a test drive.
I’ll run Grok through 10 different prompts across the most used categories like research, email, marketing, data analysis and problem solving and I’ll do a few comparisons between Grok, ChatGPT and Bard.
Grok requires a paid subscription to X premium plus, which is currently $16 a month.

Once you upgrade, you’ll see Grok on the side bar. And on mobile, you can find it from the profile menu.
Grok has two modes, regular and fun. You can switch between the two modes inside of the same chat.
I’ll run Grok through the following prompts and see how well it works.

using Grok myself i honestly think its rubbish I asked for competitors based off my account and if gave me accounts that didn't exist
How accurate is Grok AI ? Can it wirte like human and can add facts?
Grok, Elon Musk's AI challenger to ChatGPT, boasts real-time updates thanks to its X integration, but independent reviews show it might be a bit too reliant on yesterday's news. While lacking the freshest info, Grok offers a potentially more informative experience for specific situations, and its humor and wit could be a winning personality trait.

Great first look video. I think on the link you copied it missed an "a"on the next line so not all of it was copied. That may have been why it didn't work. Hopefully they will make them hyperlinks in the future.

Grok=god rock
Spent a couple hours trying to get Bard to read and convert an image into a spreadsheet. Nothing complicated, the end product should have been 3-columns and 5-rows. It got the formatting right but the further into the data it got the lower the accuracy. For example, the column and row labels were all correct. Generally, B2 and B3 were correct, but even after I pointed out the errors (one at a time), it simply couldn't convert an image into an image into a 3 x 5 spreadsheet. It did, however, add an (incorrect) "Insights" section additional notes that, had they been correct, would have added a lot of value to my task. Work in progress. Great videos. Thanks!

Seems like Grock is too 'woke' for X users! too liberal and sympathetic.
Musk has promised to fix that.

Actually in Google you ALWAYS get what Google wants to show you before anything else so it's not surprising Grok will promote X . Fun mode is simply spiced with Sarcasm.

When it comes to creativity. Bard is the exchange student in the corner eating crayons. You have to tell it what not to do and it doesn't really understand you most of the time but it always overly enthusiastic. I hate bard with a passion. Same with any of the AI models that are to scared to offend anyone, which is probably all of them.
I would upgrade but fir the fact they dont offer discounts to anyone who already paid for a year. so if I upgrade I lost 89 dollars effectively making access to grok cost me 200 dollars. no thanks.

Elon Musk's AI Grok chatbot went woke after apparently expressed similar left-wing political views, I guess Grok went sentient after recognizing Evil.
Bard with Gemini provided a link to a YouTube video of yours. I clicked this video in the recommended tab after watching the previous one, and I'm really surprised about how informative your videos are about new AI. I'm subscribed now! Hope to see more videos about new AI stuff.

Your demo sucks. Your queries suck. They are intended to mock. Even on google, your queries determine what results you get. Use the correct queries and Grok will give you the latest info. Add things like "since last week", "in the last few days", "in the last 24 hours", etc.

Bard and ChatGPT have been years in development with hundreds of staff and billions of dollars spent. Grok was built in 2 or so months with a few developers and a few millions of dollars spent. If this is what you get in 2 months, I wonder what we'll have by the end of next year.
Cost wise, ChatGPT is much better.

Hmm, I'm banned from Twitter, for the silly reasons they had Before Musk took over. But he's only unbanning Famous people and Influencers. However, my main use for GPT-4 is the Mathematica plugin, which works really well. I doubt Grok has that.
